PROJECT OVERVIEW

Halul Island, which is the nerve centre for Qatar’s offshore oil operations, (100km northeast of Doha, the capital of Qatar) was provided with two 100km-long 132kV subsea cables for efficient electric power supply from Ras Laffan Industrial City (80km from Doha).

The 132kV cable comprises three core power cables with embedded fibre optic cables to transmit 100MW of power in total.

Our project services were utilised for the subsea power cable installation scope, which also included the beach pull-ins.
